No, really, click the image!
As much as I write about and romanticize the idea of becoming a cult leader the major drawback that I see is that most cult leaders are complete a**holes. Sure, they get what they want. They get to be worshiped, have power, sex and money but if you aren't a part of their loyal minions they will tend to treat you like crap.

Another thing is that the typical cult leader has to work very hard and often suffers from bouts of paranoia and persecution. Even I, with all the books I've written on mind control, have softened my ideals that surround the romanticized version of being a cult leader.

Fortunately, I recently came across the book Lead with LUV: A Different Way to Create Real Success and it affirmed that one can lead a group of people and not be a complete jerk in the process.

Lead with LUV is an interview between Ken Blanchard and Colleen Barrett, the CEO of  Southwest  Airlines. In it she describes a much more holistic approach to leadership.

Barrett's approach actually fulfills the cult leaders ideals of the perfect organization, one in which every person in the organization is uniquely focused toward a shared outcome. And it is all done without guilt, shame or fear. People are in fact clamoring for one of those rare job openings at Southwest Airlines.

I can't wait for this book to fall into the hands of the Church of Scientology and see if they are even capable of implementing it (I doubt it).

To recap, get the book. It's a short read and if you want to start a cult following it as an outline is likely to save you and the world great deal of misery while creating more satisfaction and joy.
