5 Psychological Experiments That Expose Humanity's Dark Side

Psychologists know you have to be careful when you go poking around the human mind because you're never sure what you'll find there. A number of psychological experiments over the years have yielded terrifying conclusions about the subjects.

Oh, we're not talking about the occasional psychopath who turns up. No, we're talking about you. The experiments speak for themselves:

#5. The Asch Conformity Experiment (1953)

The Setup: Solomon Asch wanted to run a series of studies that would document the power of conformity, for the purpose of depressing everyone who would ever read the results.

Subjects were told that they would be taking part in a vision test, along with a handful of people. The participants were then shown pictures, and individually asked to answer very simple and obvious questions. The catch was that everybody else in the room other than the subject was in on it, and they were were told to give obviously wrong answers. So would the subject go against the crowd, even when the crowd was clearly and retardedly wrong?

The Result: Questions the subjects were asked were like the puzzle shown here:

All they had to do was say which line on the right matched the one on the left. As you can see, Asch wasn't exactly asking these people to design the next space station. Really, the only way you could get the line questions honestly wrong is if you took two doses of LSD that morning and rubbed them directly on your eyeballs (which would have made for an even more awesome experiment, but we're getting off the point).

Yet, sadly, 32 percent of subjects would answer incorrectly if they saw that three others in the classroom gave the same wrong answer. Even when the line was plainly off by a few inches, it didn't matter. One in three would follow the group right off the proverbial cliff.

What This Says About You: Imagine how much that 32 percent figure inflates when the answers are less black and white. We all tend to laugh with the group even when we didn't get the joke, or doubt our opinion we realize ours is unpopular among our group. So much for those lectures you got in elementary school about peer pressure and "being brave enough to be yourself."

"Well, it's a good thing I'm a rebellious non-conformist," many of you are saying. Of course, for virtually all of you, the next step is to find out what the other non-conformists are doing ...

... and make sure you conform to it perfectly.

#4. The Good Samaritan Experiment (1973)

The Setup: The Biblical story of the Good Samaritan, if you hadn't heard, is about a passing Samaritan helping an injured man in need, while other, self-righteous types walk right on by. Psychologists John Darley and C. Daniel Batson wanted to test if religion has any effect on helpful behavior.

Their subjects were a group of seminary students. Half of the students were given the story of the Good Samaritan and asked to perform a sermon about it in another building. The other half were told to give a sermon about job opportunities in a seminary.

As an extra twist, subjects were given different times that they had to deliver the sermon so that some would be in a hurry and others not.

Then, on the way to the building, subjects would pass a person slumped in an alleyway, who looked to be in need of help. We like to think Darley and Batson beat the crap out of some random dude to make it more realistic, but sources say otherwise.

The Result: The people who had been studying the Good Samaritan story did not stop any more often than the ones preparing for a speech on job opportunities. The factor that really seemed to make a difference was how much of a hurry the students were in.

In fact, if pressed for time, only 10 percent would stop to give any aid, even when they were on their way to give a sermon about how awesome it is for people to stop and give aid. Though to be fair, if you were late for a class, did your professor ever accept, "I had to stop and help a wounded traveler" as an excuse? Probably not unless you could produce the guy's blood-stained shirt as evidence.

What This Says About You: As much as we like to make fun of, say, anti-gay congressmen who get caught gaying it up in a men's bathroom and pointing out Al Gore's resource-hogging mansion ...

... the truth is us common folk are just as likely to be hypocrites as the politicians. After all, it's much easier to talk to a room full of people about helping strangers than, say, actually touching a smelly and bleeding homeless man. So even pointing out their hypocrisy becomes a form of hypocrisy.

And in case you thought these results were just restricted to hypocritical seminary students, turn on the news. Remember a few years ago when cameras captured at least a dozen cars refusing to stop for an injured woman laying in the road?

Just like the students, they all had to be somewhere. The drivers were presumably proud enough of themselves just for swerving to miss her, rather than squishing her like roadkill.

#3. Bystander Apathy Experiment (1968)

The Setup: When a woman was murdered in 1964, newspapers printed that 38 people had heard and seen the attack, but did nothing. John Darley and Bibb Latane wanted to know if the fact that these people were in a large group played any role in the reluctance to come to aid.

The two psychologists invited volunteers to take part in a discussion. They claimed that because the discussion would be extremely personal (probably asking about the size of their genitals or something) individuals would be separated in different rooms and talk to each other using an intercom.

During the conversation, one of the members would fake an epileptic seizure, which could be heard on the speakers. We're not completely sure how they conveyed over the intercom that what was happening was a seizure, but we're assuming the words "Wow this is quite an epileptic seizure I'm having" were uttered.

The Result: When subjects believed that they were the only other person in the discussion, 85 percent were heroic enough to leave the room and seek help once the other began the fake seizure. This makes sense. Having an extremely personal conversation (again, presumably about tiny genitalia) with another person is difficult enough, but being forced to continue to carry on the conversation by yourself is just sad. But either way, 85 percent helped. So that's good, right?

Well, they weren't done. When the experiment was altered so that subjects believed four other people were in the discussion, only 31 percent went to look for help once the seizure began. The rest assumed someone else would take care of it. So the phrase, "The more, the merrier" somehow got lost in translation because the correct expression should be, "The more, the higher probability that you will die if you have a seizure."

What This Says About You: Obviously if there's an emergency and you're the only one around, the pressure to help out increases massively. You feel 100 percent responsible for what happens. But, when you're with 10 other people, you're only 10 percent as responsible. The problem is everybody else only feels 10 percent responsible too.

This sheds some light on our previous examples. Maybe the drivers who swerved around the injured woman in the road would have stopped if they'd been alone on a deserted highway. Then again, maybe they'd be even more likely to abandon her since they know nobody is watching (unlike the people in the experiment, who at least knew there were others around to judge their actions).

Or maybe it comes down to just how plausible an excuse we can make for ourselves. "Surely someone will come along and save the lady in the road," we say. Or, "Surely someone else will do something about the environment," or "Surely the shark will get full and stop eating that dude at some point." We just need the slightest excuse to do nothing.

#2. The Stanford Prison Experiment (1971)

The Setup: Psychologist Philip Zimbardo wanted to find out how captivity affects authorities and inmates in prison. Sounds innocent enough. Seriously, what could go wrong?

Zimbardo transformed the Stanford Psychology Department's basement into a mock prison. Subjects volunteered by simply responding to a newspaper ad and then passing a test proving good health and high-quality mental stability, which are very important factors in deciding who goes to prison. These volunteers were all male college students who were then divided arbitrarily into 12 guards and 12 prisoners. Zimbardo himself decided that he wanted to play too, and elected himself Prison Superintendent. The simulation was planned to run for two weeks.

Yep, nothing at all can go wrong with this.

The Result: It took about one day for every subject to suddenly go as insane as a shit-house rat. On only the second day, prisoners staged a riot in the faux detention center, with prisoners barricading their cells with their beds and taunting the guards. The guards saw this as a pretty good excuse to start squirting fire extinguishers at the insurgents because, hey, why the hell not?

From that point on, the Stanford Prison that had already gone to hell, just continued to ricochet around in hell for day after day. Some guards began forcing inmates to sleep naked on the concrete, restricting the bathroom as a privilege (one that was often denied). They forced prisoners to do humiliating exercises and had them clean toilets with their bare hands.

Incredibly, when "prisoners" were told they had a chance at parole, and then the parole was denied, it didn't occur to them to simply ask out of the damned experiment. Remember they had absolutely no legal reason to be imprisoned, it was just a role-playing exercise. This fact continued to escape them as they sat naked in their own filth, with bags on their heads.

Over 50 outsiders had stopped to observe the prison, but the morality of the trial was never questioned until Zimbardo's girlfriend, Christina Maslach, strongly objected. After only six days, Zimbardo put a halt to the experiment (several of the "guards" expressed disappointment at this). If you were about to applaud Maslach as the only sane person involved in this clusterfuck, you should know that she went on to marry Zimbardo, the guy who orchestrated the whole thing.

What This Says About You: Ever been harassed by a cop who acted like a major douchebag, pushing you around for no reason? Science says that if the roles were reversed, you'd likely act the same way.

As it turns out, it's usually fear of repercussion that keeps us from torturing our fellow human beings. Give us absolute power over somebody and a blank check from our superiors, and Abu Ghraib-esque naked pyramids are sure to follow. Hey, if it can happen to a bunch of Vietnam-era hippie college students, it sure as hell could happen to you.

#1. The Milgram Experiment (1961)

The Setup: When the prosecution of the Nazis got underway at the Nuremberg Trials, many of the defendants' excuse seemed to revolve around the ideas of, "I'm not really a prick" and, "Hey man, I was just following orders." Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram wanted to test willingness of subjects to obey an authority figure. Maybe he could just, you know, ask people? Oh, hell no. That would not be nearly horrifying enough.

Instead he ran an experiment where the subject was told he was a "teacher" and that his job was to give a memory test to another subject, located in another room. The whole thing was fake and the other subject was an actor.

The subject was told that whenever the other guy gave an incorrect answer, he was to press a button that would give him an electric shock. A guy in a lab coat was there to make sure he did it (again no real shock was being delivered, but the subject of course did not know this).

The subject was told that the shocks started at 45 volts and would increase with every wrong answer. Each time they pushed the button, the actor on the other end would scream and beg for the subject to stop.

So, can you guess how this went?

The Result: Many subjects began to feel uncomfortable after a certain point, and questioned continuing the experiment. However, each time the guy in the lab coat encouraged them to continue. Most of them did, upping the voltage, delivering shock after shock while the victim screamed. Many subjects would laugh nervously, because laughter is the best medicine when pumping electrical currents through another person's body.

Eventually the actor would start banging on the wall that separated him from the subject, pleading about his heart condition. After further shocks, all sounds from victim's room would cease, indicating he was dead or unconscious. If you had to guess, what percentage of the subjects kept delivering shocks after that point?

Five percent? Ten?

Between 61 and 66 percent of subjects would continue the experiment until it reached the maximum voltage of 450, continuing to deliver shocks after the victim had been zapped into unconsciousness or the afterlife. Repeated studies have shown the same result: Subjects will mindlessly deliver pain to an innocent stranger as long as a dude in a lab coat says it's OK.

Most subjects wouldn't begin to object until after 300-volt shocks. Zero of them asked to stop the experiment before that point (keep in mind 100 volts is enough to kill a man, in some cases).

What This Says About You: You might like to think of yourself as a free-thinking marauder, but when it comes down to it, odds are you won't stick it to The Man because of the fear The Man will stick it right back up your ass. And this was just a guy in a lab coat--imagine if he'd had a uniform, or a badge.

Charles Sheridan and Richard King took this experiment one step further, but asked subjects to shock a puppy for every incorrect action it made. Unlike Milgram's experiment, this shock was real. Exactly 20 out of 26 subjects went to the highest voltage.

Almost 80 percent. Think about that when you're walking around the mall: Eight out of ten of those people you see would torture the shit out of a puppy if a dude in a lab coat asked them to.

Could hypnotism be the future of surgery? This dental patient certainly thinks so

A beautiful sunny day in the Cotswolds, two years ago.

Six paragliders are circling like eagles on powerful currents of rising air. A group of children gaze with open mouths as the giant parachutes dive and swoosh silently above their heads.

Then, suddenly, something starts to go wrong.

Breaking away from the group, one of the paragliders is hit by a powerful gust of wind, turning the parachute canopy inside out.

Guinea pig: Leslie Mason 'felt nothing more than a sting' when his teeth were removed

The pilot starts spinning like a sycamore seed towards the earth. Though he fights desperately, he cannot regain control of his parachute.

After what seems an eternity, the young man smashes into the hillside, driving the lower part of his right leg through the knee and into his thigh. He lies face down on the ground, blood trickling from his mouth.

After a moment of stunned silence, he begins screaming in agony.

He knows medical help is at least 30 minutes away and that it will take another hour to reach hospital.

To make matters worse, he knows that he can’t afford to lose consciousness because he might never again awaken if his skull has been fractured in the fall.

Something stronger than a ‘stiff upper lip’ is called for.

So the man slowly begins to suppress the pain of his shattered leg using a form of self-hypnosis he’d read about as a child.

He begins by forcing himself to breathe slowly and deeply before imagining himself in a garden full of flowers.

With a supreme effort of will, he mentally pushes the unwanted pain of his shattered knee to the back of his mind.

Even though shards of bone can be seen through his jeans, he forces himself to believe that his knee is only bruised.

He refuses to believe in pain.

‘It is a myth,’ he keeps telling himself. ‘Pain does not exist.’

And inch-by-inch the agony recedes before, finally, becoming isolated and distant.

The hypnosis had worked. He remains in a state of calm, until finally the paramedics arrive with the blessed relief of chemical anaesthesia.

An apocryphal tale? Perhaps so. But I know this story to be all too true. I know it, because I was that young man who crashed his paraglider.

And I know, from that terrible experience, that the mind has truly extraordinary powers — powers that defy logical explanation and leave most conventional doctors scratching their heads in bewilderment. How

was I, a mere amateur, able to suppress the agony of a leg and knee shattered in a dozen places, using nothing more than the power of the mind? How is it possible for hypnosis to control extreme pain?

In the long months of recuperation that followed my accident, it is a mystery I pushed to the back of my mind.

But earlier this month, my traumatic experience came back to me when I read the remarkable tale of Leslie Mason from Colchester.

Mr Mason had two teeth and their roots removed by a dentist. Nothing unusual about that, of course.

Except that he elected to have this agonising procedure performed without anaesthetic, using only the power of hypnosis to block the pain.

More remarkable still, the procedure was a success. Mr Mason said afterwards: ‘I didn’t feel any pain.’

Teeth removed without an anaesthetic? The mere idea makes any sane person wince.

Yet I knew, from my own experience on that lonely hillside, that it could indeed be possible.

So I set out to discover just how such hypnosis works, and whether we have all underestimated the power of the human mind.

Talking to medical experts from around the world, I discovered that it is a rapidly expanding branch of medicine — one that many are loathe to discuss, yet which may herald extraordinary developments in surgical science.

For in defiance of conventional wisdom, it turns out that dentists and surgeons across the world are increasingly turning to hypnosis as a possible alternative to general anaesthetic.

They claim that hypnosis has no negative side effects, is cheaper than conventional pain relief, and — since it does not interfere with the workings of the body — the patient recovers faster, too.

To take just one example, long before Leslie Mason was undergoing his tooth extractions, Dr Mike Gow was using hypnosis to carry out surgery at his dental practice in Glasgow.

Only recently, one of his patients, Amanda Maxwell, had a tooth removed and replaced with a crown using hypnosis. Four titanium screws were driven into her jawbone as part of the operation.

Such an operation would normally be excruciatingly painful and would certainly need a general anaesthetic. But Amanda says that thanks to the hypnosis techniques used by Dr Gow, there was no need for drugs at all.

‘I’m quite a wimp when it comes to pain,’ says Amanda. ‘But during the operation my mind was elsewhere so it didn’t hurt. As far as I was concerned, I was walking along a beach looking at the sea. I could hear the machine drilling into my jaw but it didn’t bother me at all.’

So how did Dr Gow do it? He uses a standard ‘light trance’ form of hypnosis, which is about as far as it’s possible to get from the overblown drama of a stage hypnotist.

He simply asks his patients to breath slowly and deeply before imagining themselves in a beautiful, peaceful place. This could be their bedroom or a sandy beach.

He then asks the patient to imagine pain as a dial running from one to ten. He tells them that they have the power to control the level of pain by simply turning down the dial in their mind.

‘Dr Gow told me that if the pain rose above six then I should ask for an anaesthetic,’ says Amanda. ‘But it never rose above two or three during the entire operation.’

RADICAL as his techniques may seem, in many ways Dr Gow is simply returning to an earlier era of medicine. Before the advent of modern anaesthetics, many Victorian surgeons explored mind control as a method of eliminating pain.

In 1836, a French physician called Jean-Victor Oudet became the first dentist to remove a tooth using ‘mesmerism’ as it was then known.

A few years later, Dr James Esdaile, a young Scottish surgeon, began using the same technique to dull the pain limb amputations.

Yet with the discovery of potent chemical anaesthetics such as nitrous oxide and ether, such techniques drifted into obscurity.

After all, given the choice, what patient would not opt for the certainty of general anaesthesia over hypnosis — a branch of science that nobody could fully explain.

Yet more than 180 years on, the technique is once again being explored by reputable surgeons.

One team in Belgium has operated on more than 6,000 patients using hypnosis combined with a light local anaesthetic.

The local anaesthetic is used only to deaden the surface of the skin while a scalpel slices through it. It has no effect inside the body.

‘The patient is conscious throughout the whole operation,’ says Professor Marie-Elisabeth Faymonville, head of the Pain Clinic at Liege University Hospital in Belgium.

‘This helps the doctor and patient work together. The patient may have to move during an operation

and it’s simple to get them to do so if they remain conscious. We’ve even done a hysterectomy using the procedure.’

The idea of replacing anaesthetics with hypnosis in major surgery is now beginning to be taken seriously in Britain too.

The reputable journal New Scientist recently reported the remarkable case of 46-year-old Pippa Plaisted, who had a breast cancer operation in London using hypnosis.

Pippa was put into a light trance and could hear the surgeon calmly telling her the details of the operation as he carried them out.

‘The surgeon was cutting and sewing inside me, but I could not feel any sensation at all,’ said Pippa. ‘After the operation I felt tired, but there was no nausea or wooziness. I had a clear head and felt totally normal.’

Yet despite such cases, scientists remain sceptical. Many say patients are being deliberately selected by ‘pro-hypnosis’ doctors for their susceptibility to hypnotism.

Professor Chris French, a psychologist from Goldsmiths, University of London, says: ‘Some people can cope with extraordinary amounts of pain because they can mentally remove themselves. It may have nothing to do with hypnosis.

‘Most of these operations also use a local anaesthetic. Most pain receptors are in the skin, not inside the body, so the main source of pain is still being anaesthetised. Surgery also uses extremely sharp scalpels which are far less painful than ordinary knives.

‘I’m not totally sceptical about hypnosis but I don’t think it’s as miraculous as it seems.’

His hesitance is understandable. For perhaps the strangest aspect of all these procedures is that scientists are still at a loss to explain how it works. Numerous possibilities abound.

One theory holds that hypnosis subdues the ‘conscious mind’ and allows the hypnotist to communicate directly with the deep subconscious. In effect, the mind is switched off and can feel no pain.

Another theory claims that the hypnotist is simply distracting the patient and uses the ‘power of suggestion’ to trick them into believing they are not in pain.

Whichever theory is true, there is no doubt that hypnosis is starting to garner powerful supporters in the medical establishment.

Dr Martin Wall, President of the Royal Society of Medicine’s Hypnosis and Psychosomatic Medicine division, says: ‘Pain is a construct conjured up by the brain. In other words, it’s not real. It’s simply a series of electrical impulses travelling to the brain.

‘Hypnosis is a powerful technique with a great many benefits for the patient. It’s a great way of relieving anxiety and boosting confidence.’

All of which makes one wonder why it has not been more thoroughly researched. Or has it?

For as with so many elements of fringe medicine, the powers of hypnosis not only have the potential to help mankind, but also to be used for nefarious ends.

Thwaw themes have been explored by Hollywood in such films as the Manchurian Candidate and the Bourne Identity.

As you may recall, in these films a person’s character is broken down and reprogrammed allowing them to become controlled by renegade government agents.

But what few people know is that both films were based on the work of the U.S. psychologists J.W.Watkins and George Estabrooks.

Both men worked for the U.S. military on several clandestine projects. Watkins specialised in placing army recruits into deep trances and ‘reprogramming’ them.

In one series of experiments, he hypnotised soldiers and told them to attack senior officers. Disregarding all their years of military discipline, they duly did so. One even pulled out a knife and attempted to stab an officer.

Similarly, the CIA has also explored hypnosis as part of its intelligence-gathering techniques.

In 1953, the CIA director Allen Dulles kick-started several secret programmes when he announced that: ‘Mind warfare is the great battlefield of the Cold War and we have to do whatever it takes to win.’

Morse Allen, a CIA researcher, managed to hypnotise his secretary and, in an attempt to test his powers, ordered her to shoot her best friend. (A tragedy was only averted as the gun she’d been given had been emptied of bullets before she pulled the trigger.)

Such stories of medical marvels and total mind control will doubtless sound incredulous to cynics.

Even with the reassurance that anyone can be placed into a hypnotic trance if they keep an open mind, most of us would still be unwilling to rely on hypnosis in the operating theatre.

Yet some experts fear that millions of us are subtly hypnotised on a daily basis, without us even realising.

The culprit? The television and computer games to which many are addicted.

Dr Martin Wall, of the Royal Society of Medicine, describes the current generation of computer games and TV programmes as ‘intrinsically hypnotic’.

‘We’re all being hypnotised every time we look at the TV,’ says Dr Wall. ‘That’s how the commercial world works. We’re being manipulated all of the time.

‘I especially worry about kids using violent computer games. They’re hypnotising themselves. It induces an altered state of consciousness that by-passes normal morality.’

Having experienced first hand how strong the power of hypnosis can be, that’s a threat we should not dismiss lightly.

The Armed Services Committee's hearings last week on interrogation and torture gave us a startling look into how torture was taught at the Naval Prison at Guantanamo Bay. Most articles have not bothered to look deeply into what was discussed in meetings between officials of the Navy's Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape, or SERE, program and ranking officers and personnel at Guantanamo. This article will look in some detail at what actually occurred. (At the end, I will address an important correction and clarification to an earlier article on SERE.)

As Mark Benjamin writes in his "timeline to Bush government torture":

Soon after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the Pentagon and the CIA began an orchestrated effort to tap expertise from the military's Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape school, for use in the interrogation of terrorist suspects. The U.S. military's SERE training is designed to inoculate elite soldiers, sailors and airmen to torture, in the event of their capture, by an enemy that would violate the Geneva Conventions. Those service members are subjected to forced nudity, stress positions, hooding, slapping, sleep deprivation, sexual humiliation and, yes, in some cases, waterboarding.

In an article the other day, I described some of SERE's rocky history, and indicated that by testimony of Lt. Col. Baumgarten, Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) for the Department of Defense, which administers SERE, he was approached by an official of the defense department for information on SERE techniques as early as December 2001. This places DoD interest in possibly reverse-engineering of SERE techniques prior to the January 9 memo by John Yoo providing legal cover to Bush administration assertions that the Geneva Conventions did not apply to detainees held in the new war in Afghanistan. In addition, it predates the January 25 memo by Alberto Gonzales, then a presidential counsel, approving the Yoo argument, and stating that when it came to interrogation of enemy prisoners, the Geneva conventions' "strict limitations on questioning" such prisoners was now obsolete.

In my opinion, and no one has been able to convince me otherwise (although I am no attorney), the query to Baumgarten in December 2001 may be sufficient evidence of war crimes, even by the twisted logic of the White House, who first wanted to torture, and then later dream up the legal justification for it. The only catch -- that no one catch them red-handed in the interim. I again encourage Senator Levin to release the documents that Lt. Col. Baumgarten says convinced him that he had been approached in December 2001. So far Levin and his committee have focused on the approach to SERE in July 2002. Why?

A Course in Torture

SERE training specialists arrived in Guantanamo in late December 2002. A copy of a SERE interrogation Standard Operating Procedure was circulated to camp officials. (All quotes from this and other documents can be found in the document release by SASC made coincident with last week's hearings.)

Most of this SERE SOP remains classified. The memo that accompanied it has been declassified, however:

Subj: GUIDELINES FOR EMPLOYING "SERE" MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES DURING DETAINEE INTERROGATIONS....

The premise behind this is that the interrogation tactics used at U.S. military SERE schools are appropriate for use in real-world interrogations. These tactics and techniques are used at SERE school to "break" SERE detainees. The same tactics and techniques can by used to break real detainees during interrogation operations.

The document goes on to mandate SERE-related training for all instructors. The policy memo is approved by the Chief of Interrogation Control Element (ICE), Lt. Col. Ted Moss, Major Geoffrey Miller, Commanding General, Joint Task Force, Guantanamo, and a third colonel whose name I cannot read on the document as it is reproduced.

The SASC produced a small extract from the SERE SOP, dated December 18, 2002. It describes the use of "Degradation Tactics", including slaps to the shoulder, and stomach; something called an "Insult Slap"; and Stripping. In addition, it lists "Physical Debilitation Tactics", specifically "Stress Positions", including variations for kneeling, sitting, standing, something called "Head Rest Index Finger Position", and another one titled "Worship-the-Gods". Finally, the SOP commands "Demonstrate Omnipotence Tactics", via "Manhandling" and "Walling".

That would be all we know from government sources, if it weren't for an extraordinary memo by two SERE specialists back to the Officer in Charge at "FASOTRAGRULANT Det Burnswick". These two officers, John Rankin and Christopher Ross say they "directed to proceed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba a the request of LtCol [sic] Moss, Commander of the Interrogation Control Unit." It was their "impression" they were to provide "the theory and application of... physical pressures utilized during our training" to Gitmo interrogators. Utilizing the original SERE SOP, a training plan was worked up. The SERE trainers focused on "resistance", as it was believed that some of the high-profile detainees had undergone their own kind of resistance training, "as evidenced by the Al Queda Training Manual". The memo continues:

On the morning of 31 Dec 02, Mr. Ross and I initiated training with an in-depth class on Biderman's Principles, and the theory and practical application of selected physical pressures, [unclear word, maybe "IAW"] our "Blue Book", to approximately 24 ICE personnel. This training was conducted in one of the newly constructed interrogation facilities located at Camp Delta. During this training it was stressed that the physical pressures are only a part of the overall conditioning process designed to establish and maintain an effective captive management program.

After complaining about security glitches at Guantanamo, and rental car availability ("Future trips should utilize Enterprise Rental"), the memo concludes:

Recommend that future trainers, if requested, be thoroughly prepared to discuss and explain Biderman's Principles and captive management techniques.

Biderman, Brainwashing, and U.S. Torture

Some readers may be familiar with Biderman's "Chart of Coercion", as it has been well-circulated on cult deprogrammer websites for years. The original is supposedly from a 1970's Amnesty International publication on torture. The version released by the SASC -- originally an enclosure to Moss and Rankin's memo discussed above -- is very blurry and difficult to read. But it is almost word for word identical to this version published on the web, and can profitably be compared together.

Albert Biderman was a social psychologist who worked with the government debriefing POWs from the Korean War. At the time there was a huge controversy because many of these POWs were said to be collaborators, and some had told their captors that the U.S. had bombed Korea and China with biological weapons, a definite war crime. The U.S. called it "brainwashing" and began a crash program trying to understand the nuts and bolts of so-called mind control. Biderman became one of the outstanding researchers in this effort. In the early 1960s, he edited with a colleague a collection of research papers by psychologists and psychiatrists encapsulating the subject and entitled it "The Manipulation of Human Behavior." (Also see this review of MHB.)

Biderman became one of the premier experts in interrogation, both of the rapport-building and coercive types. Much of the knowledge gleaned by he and his collaborators was encapsulated in the "Chart of Coercion", or what SERE calls "Coercive Management Techniques". What are these techniques?

1. Isolation: This deprives the prisoner of all social support and "ability to resist". While turning the prisoner upon his own resources, it "makes victim dependent upon interrogator" (quotes are from the SERE version). Furthermore, isolation can be complete, semi, or "group isolation".

2. Monopolisation of Perception: This means again "physical isolation. Darkness or bright light. Barren environment. Restricted movement. Monotonous food. The goal? To fixate the prisoner upon his "immediate predicament", the technique also "eliminates stimuli competing with those controlled by captor," frustrating all action "not consistent with compliance.

3. Induced Debilitation and Exhaustion: This is what it seems to be, i.e., a method to weaken a prisoners' "mental and physical ability to resist." Techniques include: "Semi-starvation. Exposure. Exploitation of wounds. Induced illness. Sleep deprivation. Prolonged constraint. Prolonged interrogation" and "over-exertion", among other practices (tortures!)

4. Threats: Which "cultivates anxiety and despair", including threats of death, non return, "endless interrogation and isolation", threats against family, and "mysterious changes of treatment".

5. Occasional indulgences: To provide positive motivation for compliance, it also has the effect of hindering "adjustment to deprivation."

6. Demonstrating "Omnipotence" and "Omniscience": The purpose of this is said to suggest to the prisoner the "futility of resistance". How is this done? By "demonstrating complete control over victim's fate". (And this, by the way, is a crucial way that the ban on habeas corpus for these prisoners, recently overturned by the Supreme Court, fed into the military's torture program, by demonstrating that there was no appeal to anyone.)

7. Degradation: This is where one finds the prevention of personal hygiene, the insults, taunts, "demeaning punishments" and "denial of privacy". The goal was to damage prisoner self esteem, making "capitulation" a lesser evil. It also "reduces the prisoner to 'animal level' concerns.

8. Enforcing Trivial Demands: Again the point is to develop compliance in the captive, and takes place through "enforcement of minute rules.

So there you have it, these are the "principles" the SERE instructors insisted future trainers for interrogators at Guantanamo (and since SERE instruction migrated to Iraq and Afghanistan as well, we can presume there as well) "be thoroughly prepared to discuss and explain".

If you aren't stunned by this point, you never will be. The hubris and ambition of the American imperial quest has reached it reductio ad absurdum in reducing those who oppose it to the "animal level", and making them objects of torture and omnipotent control. There are other aspects to this scandal that are worth reporting. For instance, Stephen Soldz has just written an excellent summary of the role of military psychologists and the American Psychological Association in all this.

My conclusion is only this: now that you've read this, what are you going to do about it? It's your society. Your leaders have proven impotent in stopping this activity, and the perpetrators have not been held accountable -- yet. Ask yourself, what will I do today, tomorrow, and the next day to stop this barbarity from eating up our society entirely, from destroying the entire social fabric.

A Final Correction and a Further Clarification

In my story the other day, Media & Gov't Torture Cover-up: Sen. Levin, Release the 12/01 SERE Docs, I wasn't sufficiently clear in my description about testimony from a 1960s Green Beret officer. I wrote:

Sergeant Donald W. Duncan, a former Green Beret who served in Vietnam, recipient of two Bronze Stars, the Legion of Merit, the Vietnamese Silver Star, the Army Air Medal, and sundry other decorations, testified at a "War Crimes" tribunal chaired by Bertrand Russell in the 1960s that SERE techniques had been taught to Special Forces interrogators for use in Vietnam....
From the Russell Copenhagen Tribunal testimony (pp.31-32) (bold emphasis added):

Duncan recounts an American instruction class for the Green Berets in "Counter-Measures to Hostile Interrogation" in which the techniques of hostile interrogation are presented in great detail but not any counter-measures, of which the instructor says there are none. A sergeant asks the instructor whether the only reason for teaching the class is for training in the use of the methods of interrogation (involving torture such as lowering of a prisoner's testicles into a jeweler's vise, mutilation, etc.). The instructor replies: "We can't tell you that, Sergeant Harrison. The Mothers of America wouldn't approve. Furthermore, we will deny that any such thing is taught or intended." D. DUNCAN, THE NEW LEGIONS 123-25 (Pocket Books ed. 1968). In his testimony before the Russell Tribunal, Duncan states that this dialogue is a word for word quote. RUSSELL TRIBUNAL, supra, at 463.

As a colleague kindly pointed out to me, the implication in my account is that SERE was involved in reverse-engineering their own techniques in order to teach torture to interrogators. In fact, Michael Otterman book, in his book American Torture (where I first came across the Duncan story), he writes:

...by the late 1950s US Army Special Forces had coopted coursework from SERE for more sinister purposes....
Sergeant Donald Duncan joined the Special Forces in 1959. At the time, Special Forces resistance training was held at Camp Mackall and was supplemented by classroom training at the Army's nearby Special Warfare School [SWS] at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. (pp. 39-40)

Otterman goes on to explain that Duncan was an interrogation instructor at the SWS. He also quotes from Duncan's Russell Committee testimony a more forceful description of how "counter-measure" instruction was used (p. 67 of AT):

The specific purpose for teaching this [at Fort Bragg] is so the student in turn, once he is put in another country, can teach these methods to what we refer to as an 'indigenous counterpart', somebody indigenous to the country. And he in turn then would become the interrogator... In Vietnam, of course, that would be the Vietnamese.

There are two important differences from the Duncan/Vietnam example and the current scandal over SERE and torture. One, the teaching of torture was done by instructors at Special Forces' Special Warfare School (although SERE techniques may also have been utilized there). Two, the ultimate recipients of the training were to be indigenous interrogators, or torturers. The current situation has SERE teaching their techniques to U.S. interrogators and personnel.

The main point remains, after all the distinctions are pulled away: the United States armed forces as a matter of policy have at various times utilized so-called counter-resistance techniques to be used by captured U.S. soldiers as a template for torture to be used on American enemy prisoners or political opponents. The situation with SERE is not new, but part of a military or national security culture that has lost its moral bearings and committed crimes for which they have never been held accountable. (This is not to downplay those portions of the military, as currently the military lawyers, who strenuously opposed this policy).

Scientology believes in (a) reincarnation, (b) that children are adults with small bodies, and (c) the fate of your thetan is more important than anything in this life. This allows them to justify a lot of the abuses and fraud in their religion. Today, we’re going to look at the Children’s Security Check. Now, for copyright reasons, we’re only going over a few salient points of it with a link to the original document on wikileaks, in keeping with the international laws on fair use copyright law.

As you read this, keep in mind these sec checks (security checks) are (a) for children 6-12 according to the document itself, (b) goes into their folder that Scientology keeps forever, and (c) it has been proven that Scientology will use the contents of that folder to not only threaten you if you leave the church and want to speak out, but will actually use it to threaten you if you express doubt or want to leave in the first place. Lasty, these are children. Their minds aren’t fully formed. They can’t think for themselves the way adults can. This is a despicable predatory practice. The children grow up in fear, because children are afraid of “getting in trouble”. Thus they are more responsive to authoritative abuse than adults.

Now, this is five pages worth of questions. I’ve only selected 20 of them. There are a couple reasons that this is done. The first is that, by forcing the kid to continually answer these questions, whatever the content, for an extended period of time, it breaks down their mental barriers to keeping secrets, deciding who to trust, and depending on the delivery, breaks down their self esteem as the questions are badged hostily until the agent is convinced they are getting the whole truth.

Another reason is to put information in their file that they can later use to control them. Several ex-Scientologists including Jason Beghe and Tory Magoo have talked about how everything you tell the Church of Scientology is recorded to use later for blackmail. Blackmail to keep you in. Blackmail to silence you in case you leave. There was a recent report on Enturbulation that this is being done to Tom Cruise and John Travolta. This is unconfirmed, and is included as an instance of this incideous practice, and I personally believe that if Tom and John came forward and spilled all of their dirt as they left the Church, the world would embrace them for their boldness, honesty, and good sense in leaving that vicious cult. It is not meant to come down on Tom or John in any way. As far as I am concerned, they are victims.

The last is to create an environment of fear because these vicious people know everything about you, and can use it in whatever psychotic, dysfunctional, socio-pathic way they want. Especially in children, this creates the appearance of an all knowing organization that has the money and resources to keep you under lock and key forever, without ever needing a physical lock and key.

Add to that Disconnection, where if you are declared a Suppressive Person, all Scientologists must stop contact with you. Each person’s auditing folder contains more than enough secrets for an SP declare at any time, and Scientology is not beneath making stuff up. Imagine having to say goodbye to your friends, family, wife, and children because you can’t take the controlling, domineering, blackmailing cult watching and controlling your every move and thought.

Then, by removing any influence that is not controlled by Scientology, controlling your access to the internet, tv, and newsprint, Scientology can paint a world view in which they are saving the world by robbing you blind while pulling a 1984 on your ass. Even school is done by Scientology, public school is out. You do not get even an 8th grade education, and you learn definitions of words that are completely wrong according to the Oxford English Dictionary… redefining the meaning of words in order to further support their mind control.

If an adult with a sound mind armed with information from the internet wanted to join Scientology, I wouldn’t be so upset at this. But, Scientology preys on uninformed people, and children, and paint them in a rose colored iron maiden why they drain away their bank accounts. And what do they get? “Migraines? A clear isn’t supposed to get migranes.” That’s Jason Beghe speaking about higher OT levels. “The higher you go, the worse you get… Show me a m*f* clear!”.

Jason, I can’t. The tech of Scientology isn’t about achieving clear. It’s about mind control. And when you abuse children in this way, a lot of people aren’t going to be happy.

The first British servicewoman to die in the Afghanistan conflict was a member of the UK armed forces' psychological operations unit, it has been revealed. But what do "psy-ops" really involve?

The name suggests a mysterious netherworld of misinformation and mind control.

But military chiefs say that psy-ops - psychological operations - are a routine feature of modern conflict, as old as warfare itself.

The term replaced a phrase that had even murkier connotations - propaganda.

However, the Ministry of Defence defines psy-ops simply as a way of getting "the enemy, or other target audience, to think and act in a way which will be to our advantage".

Leaflets dropped from aircraft, radio broadcasts, loudspeaker vans and face-to-face conversations with civilians are all devices used by armed forces to win hearts and minds or damage opponents' morale.

'Devious stuff'

Col Bob Stewart, who commanded the British peacekeeping forces in Bosnia, made use of psy-ops techniques when he served as an intelligence officer in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.

"There are two types of propaganda - white and black," he says.

"White is when you tell things as they are, while black is putting more devious stuff about.

"The value of psy-ops can be immense - but whatever you say must be believable, and preferably the truth."

Cpl Sarah Bryant, the first British servicewoman to be killed in the Afghanistan conflict, belonged to 15 (United Kingdom) Psychological Operations Group, a 70-strong unit based in Chicksands, Bedfordshire.

She spoke Pashtu, and it is thought she was involved in forging links with Afghan communities and monitoring Taleban radio traffic.

One former army officer who served in Iraq and the Balkans says she would have faced a tougher task than her predecessors in previous conflicts.

"In the Balkans we were able to hand out magazines and broadcast radio programmes," he recalls.

"But in much of Afghanistan you are dealing with people who have no access to TV, the internet, radio - they might not be able to read, either.

"So with civilians, you have to go and see them door-to-door. With the enemy, you are dealing with fighters who may well come from abroad, so everything you know about local culture might be no good."

Military historians date psy-ops back to the days of Alexander the Great and Ghenghis Khan, who would both deliberately spread rumours and misinformation ahead of battles to help subdue their enemies.

During the World War I, the British army air-dropped leaflets urging German troops to surrender.

In the 1940s, the Nazis tried to use broadcasts by the British traitor William Joyce - Lord Haw Haw - to undermine morale in the UK, while the Allies used radio broadcasts to get their message across to occupied Europe.

Some 29 million leaflets were dropped by coalition forces during the 1991 Gulf War, with some estimates suggesting that 40% of all surrenders and desertions were due to psy-ops tactics.

But after the invasion of Iraq in 2003, psychological warfare truly came into its own.

American Pte Lynndie England, jailed after she was photographed alongside Abu Ghraib prisoners in humiliating and stressful positions, claimed the images had been set up by a psy-ops unit to spread fear among inmates - a charge strenuously denied by the United States military.

But early in the conflict, the US Psychological Operations Company acknowledged that they had pioneered bizarre methods of interrogation such as exposing unco-operative prisoners for extended periods of time to full-blast music from rock group Metallica or children's TV programmes like Barney the Dinosaur.

'Sounds crazy'

Writer Jon Ronson revealed the often darkly comic nature of American psy-ops in his book The Men Who Stare At Goats.

But he warns that such techniques are no joke.

"The've had scientists working on a hologram of Allah, which they could project over a city," he says. "And then Allah says, 'America isn't bad.'

"It sounds crazy, but somebody in psy-ops will have determined that Barney the Dinosaur is an effective instrument of torture."

There is no suggestion that the British military have tried to develop anything quite so outlandish.

But as long as warfare persists, it appears that psy-ops will always be key components.

Recent developments of "reveals" in the media, news, television shows (i.e. Big Brother), and movies have lead me to share some excerpts from Fritz Springmeier's book The Illuminati Formula Used to Create an Undetectable Total Mind Controlled Slave if you have not had the chance to read it, maybe these excerpts will stimulate your wanting too:

One of the primary reasons that the Monarch mind-control programming
was named Monarch programming was because of the Monarch butterfly.
The Monarch butterfly learns where it was born (its roots) and it passes this knowledge via genetics on to its offspring (from generation to generation). This was one of the key animals that tipped scientists off, that knowledge can be passed genetically.

The Monarch program is based upon Illuminati and Nazi goals to create a Master race in part through genetics. If knowledge can be passed genetically (which it is), then it is important that parents be found that can pass the correct knowledge onto those victims selected for the
Monarch mind-control.

The primary important factor for the trauma-based mind-control is the ability to disassociate. It was discovered that this ability is passed genetically from generation to generation. American Indian tribes (who had traumatic ritual dances and who would wait motionless for hours
when hunting), children of Fakirs in India (who would sleep on a bed of nails or walk on hot coals), children of Yogis (those skilled in Yoga, who would have total control over their body in trance), Tibetan buddhists, children of Vodoun, Bizango and other groups have a good ability to
disassociate.

The children of multigenerational abuse are also good at dissociation. The Illuminati families and European occultists went to India, and Tibet to study occultism and eastern philosophy. These Europeans learned yoga, tantric yoga, meditations, and trances and other methods to
disassociate. These skills are passed on to their children via genetics. A test is run when the children are about 18 months old to determine if they can dissociate enough to be selected for programming or not. Mind-controlled slaves are created for different purposes, hierarchy or
non-hierarchy purposes.

The Illuminati create mind-controlled slaves who are to function within the Illuminati hierarchy. These slaves will usually have their genealogies hidden, and will be created to have excellent cover lives to insure that they are not detected. They will be given multifunctional programming, and will usually be used to help program other slaves. The abuse will not be as physically visible as it will be on the bodies of slaves who are not born to be part of the Illuminati elite.

Members of Moriah’s (Moriah = the Illuminati) Luciferian elite will have undergone as much trauma as other slaves, however the torture scars and the control are better concealed. These children will often receive lavish experiences as well as talks to convince them that they are part of the elite. (By the way, body scars will show up better under black light, that is the same black light as used in clubs.)

The Illuminati and other organizations have also programmed individuals who are simply expendable. These are sex slaves who are used up and killed very early in life, one-time use saboteurs, breeders, soldiers, drug couriers and so forth. The bodies of these people will often show visible torture scars. The expendable are the children of parents who were blackmailed into turning their children over to the CIA. This is all hidden by the power of the National Security Act. These are children, who have been sold by pedophile fathers, or pornographic parents. The programmers/masters program them with the expectation that they will be "thrown from the freedom train" when they get to age 30. (Freedom Train is the code word for the Monarch trauma-based mind-control. To be thrown from the Freedom Train means to be killed.)

A big distinction must be made between hierarchy Monarch slaves, and non-hierarchy Monarch slaves. The reason there is such a big distinction is that they are not programmed the same way. Since this book is giving the recipe for how to create a Monarch slave, we will have to cover the
distinction between slaves within the Illuminati and those slaves who function outside of the Illuminati hierarchy. It is important to stress that the label "Monarch" is used in this book in a generic sense for the modern trauma-based total mind-control that is taking place. Whether an
Illuminati mind-controlled slave is technically in the Monarch records or out of the actual Monarch Program data files kept on computer is merely a technicality.

In my (Fritz’s) other writings, I explain about how the Illuminati created the CIA. I know that some of its directors were members of the Illuminati and I strongly suspect that the other CIA directors were probably fullfledged members too. The two organizations need each other. If the CIA didn’t have the international backing of the movers and shakers of the world, it would have been exposed and done away with. Likewise, the Illuminati, because it is so secret, needs organizations through which it can work. The CIA is a front for the Illuminati, and the CIA in turn sets up fronts.

Some of those fronts, are elaborate well-staffed, well-equipped programming sites, (such as many of the state mental hospitals, McGill Psychiatric Training Network consisting of 8 Montreal hospitals esp. St. Mary’s, NASA in Huntsville, AL; the Presideo, CA; and NOTS at China
Lake, CA, to name a few. For a more complete list see Appendix B.) The Illuminati couldn’t do it alone without its fronts.

Satanists within the Network & the CIA took over Boy’s Town,NE in the early 1950s, & used that famous orphanage for a constant supply of boys for programming. Boy’s Town is perhaps the most famous, but there are whole long list of others.

When the Monarch Programming started, the top men were Illuminati. Originally, Joseph Mengele was the lead programmer. He had already achieved the rank of Grand Master (later Ipssimus) within the Illuminati. He had become skilled in music, in Kabbalistic Magic, in dancing, in abortions, and in torture (by the way, Mengele had a sadistic mother) and programming children. Many of the concentration camp children that Mengele programmed still survive and still love him to this day as "Daddy".

Mengele disappeared from Auschwitz in Jan. 1945, several months before the final chaos began in the Third Reich. He disappeared so the Illuminati could smuggle him to the U.S., so that his exceptional knowledge of programming--honed and fined tuned on thousands of concentration camp child victims could be put to use on a grande scale in the U.S. He travelled worldwide but especially in western U.S. doing his programming accompanied by his pair of two black servants.

American Monarch survivors remember his spotless German uniform, his shiny boots which he wore during programming, his thick German accent, his handsome features, his cleft chin, the space in his front teeth, the way he would jab with his thumb while programming, as if he
were still saying "links, rechts" to lines of jews coming into the concentration camps.

The reason Mengele was so excited to do the selection process of inmates coming into Auschwitz was that he was choosing inmates for his numerous mind-control trauma experiments. He was especially anxious to get identical twins, because his genetic research related to mind control needed persons of identical genetic makeup.

Traditionally, the Illuminati had been having their children inspected by a woman with the rank of Grande Mother. She would determine the fitness of the children and then present them for a formal acceptance ceremony at age 3 to the Grande Druid Council. This procedure didn't
change when Mengele came over--the programming just jumped from being an occult science to one that had full access to the Medical, Psychiatric, Judicial, Scientific and Governmental sectors via the power of the National Security Act and the Intelligence agencies.

The Illuminati's programming of multiples prior to Mengele's arrival were simplistic, compared to the sophisticated techniques engineered by the Nazi Germans (whose Mind Control research included some non-German nationals such as some Italians). Just as a victim who is killed by an 18th century musket is just as much victimized as someone killed by an M-16, so a victim of the pre-1946 programming was just as victimized as those programmed with more sophisticated techniques. For the Illuminati, the child's programming is planned by the Circle (another name for their organization) before it is born.

From the Illuminati's perspective their plans involve generational spirits and positions within the hierarchy. The child is conceived according to their rituals, and the steps that that child will go through follows a well thought out detailed regimen for programming it. In contrast, the
children from foster homes, or pedophiles do not receive the same regimen.

Hierarchy slaves will in turn be used to program and train other hierarchy children, while CIA slaves and Mafia slaves and KKK slaves etc. will be discarded. This is why a Presidential Model is "thrown from the Freedom Train [the name of the Monarch Program in the Underworld]".
Women and men in the Illuminati will continue to help with the programming their entire lives.

The Illuminati is programming such vast numbers of children, they need everyone of their able members to help. Moriah's total membership worldwide numbers in the millions. The Illuminati regimen for their children is far more controlling than the CIA's programming. Not everyone in the Illuminati gets their mind-split and becomes a programmed multiple. However, everyone does get some type of mindcontrol.

Those who have been spared multiplicity still must participate in a twoweek intense mind-control session that might be compared to the Army's Ranger school. Those who participate in this have learned obedience. Those who haven't learned obedience, are forced into ritual gladiator type duels or other punishments to eliminate them.

Finally, a traitor’s death as pictured on one of the Tarot cards is waiting. Sharon Tate was left hanging in the No. 12 Tarot Card’s "hangman position" from the house rafters. Some children live in foster homes, or with adopted parents, or in orphanages, or with caretakers and guardians. Because these children are at the mercy of the non-related adults, these types of children frequently are sold to become mind-controlled slaves of the intelligence agencies.

In review, remember that because many of these organizations are controlled by the Illuminati; an Illuminati slave may often work for one of these front groups, while the Illuminati maintain control over the base program. The intelligence networks were started by and run by the Illuminati. They are Illuminati fronts.

The use of slaves crosses many organizational boundaries within the overall Network. If a slave is to be used as a Delta model (assassination), they may be selected for strength and dexterity. The Delta Force is the army’s elite unit made up of Monarch slaves.

If they are to operate as a Beta model (sexual slave), they will be chosen if they can master technique. Occasionally they might in some circumstances be selected for how pretty the programmers expect the child to become. Some parents have produced good looking children and are actually sought-after to bear children to sell into the Mind Controlled Slavery "Freedom Train" System. However, vastly more important for Beta Sex Slaves are their ability to be programmed to have charm, seductive skills, charisma, and creativity. Beauty is in the eye of the
beholder, and the programmers can put almost any kind of body to use as a sex slave.

There are different types of sexual slaves, but the Illuminati wants to get Beta alters which are sharp, talented, skilled, and resourceful. They will use these Beta alters, such as the Black Widow alters, for espionage and blackmail.

The Mind Of "The Brown Note" for Crowd Control

The rumor mill is spinning concerning a weapon that might be used to control crowds at the Democratic National Convention.

Dubbed the "brown note" or "crap cannon," it's believed to use an infrasound frequency to debilitate someone by him defecate involuntarily.

Sound completely unbelieveable? It may just be all talk to deter protesters from showing up.

Dr. Roger Schwenke, an expert acoustician who appeared on Discovery Channel's "Mythbusters" to test the weapon, told Fox News there is no evidence to support that frequencies would cause people to soil their pants.

“When we conducted the low frequency experiment for the Brown Note episode of MythBusters, we tested a variety of low frequencies and no involuntary gastro-intestinal motility was caused,” he said.

But he did acknowledge that some people felt "abdominal discomfort," which was alleviated by moving away from the frequency source.

Jurgen Altmann of the Bochum Verification Project carried out a review of all literature on acoustic weapons and wrote he found no evidence that the brown note caused involuntary defecation.

"In the low frequency exposures up to 150 dB no bowel spasms were observed. The same holds for low-frequency animal experiments. Here it is noteworthy that also in reviewing vibration experiments no mention was made of bowel spasms or uncontrolled defecation."

Despite the evidence, some activist groups are a little wary. Mark Cohen, co-founder of first amendment rights group Re-create 68, told Fox News he has heard accounts of brown notes' use during the free-trade agreement protests in Miami in 2003. He and his group are planning to have medics on hand to prepare for any potential situations that arise.

Americans are possessed with ennui and malaise, and worst of all, fears. Perhaps these conditions explain the rash of suicides, the campus murders, the weariness, the failure to act on others’ behalf, the inertia and apathy, and the near lack of humanism.

The Inner Circle, the Elitists, the Powers—any name you want to call them—plan and organize behind closed doors to bring about their global governance, or the New World Order (NWO) or one-world government. To do this, they must push every country to its knees so that the citizenry cannot fight back. America appears to be the last stronghold for them to conquer, and at that, we are already weakened. They employ a slate of techniques to establish the NWO, but behind each of these methods is one basic practice: To instill fear in the masses so that we will rely on the government for safety and protection, and thus yield our rights and freedoms in the process. Below are some of the major means for the Illuminati to achieve their goal, but don’t mistake a rose for a rose and attribute everything to them:

1. Harassment: When faced with opposition, the Elitists first attempt to overcome by “buying” someone out. If that doesn’t work, they resort to discrediting and then harassment in extreme form via endless phone calls, tapping or tracking, or tailing and following as well as putting out negative, disparaging and secret info on them, snooping in their lives and projects. IRS hassles, accusing one of false crimes, negatively doctoring a person’s personal and work records are all means for the Illuminati to gain superiority over individuals and to make them cede to their goals. Driving opponents or dissenters mad or to the point of paranoia is one of their prized exercises.

2. Population Control: Invented food shortages, water contamination, lack of space, depletion of "green” are maneuvers to slice off 2/3rd of the world’s six-billion citizens, and save themselves, while allowing death and other horrors to befall the other 4-billion. Subtle means of ending our existence include abortion (Planned Parent is the main culprit), genetic engineering (cloning allows engineers to create an army of soldiers bred to have massive muscle bulk, superior senses, powerful killing skills or to breed doubles to replace people; it also introduces chimeras (hybrid animal/human forms), and angels of death (ridding hospitals, clinics—the general population—of infirmed and old people who put burdens on our society. Euthanasia is a form of this, as are fatal surgical procedures).

3. Contamination: Any form of poisoning will kill a sizeable population, and this can be targeted. The elite can contaminate our water supplies and food resources (genetically modified food may be exemplary), and despoil our land (soil impregnated with bacteria, oil and other toxic spills).

4. Detainment Camps are set up as holding areas until termination ensues or the enslavement of those in society they believe will serve as strong and vital slaves. Whether factual or not, that we even believe they exist puts us in a state of fear and anger. Underlying the knowledge of such Gulags is the simple fact that the American populace realizes that a police state or Marshall Law is on the horizon.

5. Moral Corruption has been and remains a major technique for bringing about the New World Order, with all its anti-Americanism, anti-patriotism, and anti-traditionalism going on. Destruction of home-taught values has been aligned with the new educational dockets in government schools. Relative values rule over old-fashioned, family-oriented absolute values…what is morally, ethically and legally right and wrong (“Whatever feels right to you, do it, even if it isn’t”).

6. Diversity: This refers to forcing us to show tolerance, understanding and acceptance for values we do not believe in. “Political correctness” was the thrust for this. Censorship and hate crimes are also a means for forcing undesirable changes down our throats.

7. Racial Dissention: This is a method they use to create conflict among races and nationalities, as in “Divide and conquer.”

8. Removal of God: The Elite work hard to prohibit us from making any reference to God or Christ and the sacredness of Christianity in public but yet they promote pagan holidays, Wicca, black magic and practice Satanism. A society lacking in God and spirituality—especially one supposedly built on Christianity—is a doomed civilization, and one that easily cedes to others. Apostasy in our churches, especially Catholicism, is a sign of the destruction foisted on us. Their goal is to reach back to the Ancient Mysteries, and to learn what they believe are advanced technologies from ancient aliens and gods

9. Ecumenism is another parameter for a one-world religion. Believing that Christ is not the savior, or that other people or so called "prophets” are the saviors makes Christianity invalid. Some believe New Ageism will be the one-world religion, while others think global warming with become the hymn. An aspect of their plan is their contrived apocalypse based on the books of Revelation and Daniel.

10. Remiss Authority Figures: Many parents and adults fear today’s youth. Kids scream, yell, mock, and often physically abuse their parents or other elders. They’re rude and disrespectful. Much of this is attributed to the “It takes a village to raise a child” mentality, where children are supposed to be cuddled, free-thinking, and do whatever they want. Parents and authority have become remiss in correcting foul children. The Elite encourage children to resist authority, on one hand, while wanting them to mindlessly obey, on the other.

11. Failing Educational System: Education is the key approach for altering children’s beliefs of what is right and wrong through mind control programs, rewriting history, introducing alternative and debased sexual teachings, and false ideologies. This conditions them to accept whatever the Powers lay before them, and they are dumbeddown so that they won’t learn the truth and rebel.

12. Sexual Perversion is used to advance Elitists’ goals and degrade our morals, getting us to accept and even adopt anything they put on us, and often using such activity to blackmail us.

13. Drugs/Alcohol: Breeding a society of chemically abused and dependent individuals is one way to get people to accept matters contrary to their morals, and to rely on the government to help them get through it. Addiction robs us financially and psychologically while diverting law enforcement efforts to other areas. Prescribed medicine makes us reliant on pills and doctors while ballooning Big Pharma profits.

14. Gambling: Promoting illegal activities through pretenses of “enjoyment” and promises of making big money is yet another scheme by the Elitist to keep us dependent on money and materialism for our happiness, and to be dependent on outside forces for our happenings and success.

15. Chaos is a maneuver to keep us bewildered. By putting events and activities in a framework of utter turmoil where no one knows what to do, who to believe, or on whom to rely, the Powers can emerge as the saviors by offering solutions to the chaos they have secretly exacted. Conflicting issues via the Hegelian Dialectics keep the masses on edge, doubting, and confused, as well as sidetracked from the real issues they want to forward.

16. Cover-ups: What the Illuminati don’t want us to know, they cover up by disposing of the people, making them “disappear,” or placing vital documents under “classified,” or through throwing out red herrings at us. Whistleblowers are often destroyed career-wise, or personally mocked, or injured, and even murdered. Underground and black ops are keys to cover-ups. Propagation of conspiracies is a game for them and a way for them to conflict the masses. Intentional leaks are one of their prescribed methods for conditioning us to their intent and for confusing us.

17. Environment: Using global warming as a “unifying issue,” the Illuminati are not only making scads of money through corporate green programs and retail merchandise, but also deceiving people into believing that the issue is real, when in reality hundreds of scientists who are not given print can testify against it. Thus the environment is used as a weapon to employ the Elitist’s objectives and to create a common mantra—a religion of its own. Added to this are sustainable development and eminent domain (taking commoners’ lands for their own purposes), and controlled weather (HAARP--High frequency Active Auroral Research Program and other weather weapons), among other processes.

18. Destroying the Workforce: Damaging treaties (GATT, NAFTA, etc.) created the massive loss of jobs in our country via outsourcing and the erosion of our industries. America has been minimized as a strong nation and castrated as a super power. Jobs have been given to illegal immigrants in our country or sent overseas to India and China and other nations. Americans struggle financially as the Elitists lower us to third world status. Illegal immigration is just one of their schemes for running the world.

19. Crimes: A society frightened of being murdered, raped, beaten, held hostage, hijacked, or kidnapped, or victims of vehicular deaths, road rage, and "suicided,” among other abominable offenses, is a society wailing for security, in spite of lost rights. This, then, is just one more method of cuckolding us into ceding our rights to Big Brother. The ICC (International Criminal Court) was created to imprison people of different cultures, including Americans. The protection of hard core, guilty criminals is also symptomatic of a failing country.

20. Terrorism: The Powers keep us in a state of trepidation over terrorism—real or contrived—and cause us to cede our freedoms for protection. 2001's 9/11 caused a major breakdown of the U.S. Constitution, the infringement of rights and policies through Homeland Security, the Patriot Act, biochips, and soon-to-come Martial Law; hence, the concentration camps for those who balk against the Police State or promote dissension.

21. Slavery and Prostitution: Many people, especially younger ones, are rounded up in clandestine ways and are forced into slavery or prostitution. They may be stolen during the night, taken coming and going from school, or whisked off in parking lots. They are often earmarked by the Powers who want young maidens or lads to "entertain” visiting dignitaries or foreign VIPs who abuse the kids and sell them to slave masters, pimps, and other black market factions. Some researchers believe that these missing people have even been sacrificed in satanic rituals.

22. Genocide is a method for wiping out an entire society for depopulation purposes, for government gain, for eliminating enemies, for creating a super race by purging traits deemed negative. Genocide, then, is an effective way for the Elite to sort out which people they want and which they don’t; it gets rid of the unwanted in one fell swoop. Some of their methods include random extermination (holocausts) and heinous atrocities, creating insurrections to kill off a religious or racial group, and holocausts.

23. Decision Makers: The Illuminati’s power shores them up to decide who the next president or prime minister will be, who will receive grants and government funding, and anything else that affect us on a personal and national level.

24. Diseases: Bacteria and viruses can be released during either war or peace time to create a chaos and a demand for protection that would help the powers to achieve their mission of globalism; bio-warfare can be reserved for combat when the substances are unleashed on enemies. Besides using bacteria in germ warfare, they also test substances on humans, some unknowingly. The introduction of HIV, the rise of once eliminated childhood diseases, biochem warfare, and the growing number of unknown bacterial and viral diseases are representative of their manipulations. They can put substances into drinking water; they’ve introduced cell phones knowing the dangers of cancer; and they’ve used microwaves and other technologies against us, as well as various forms of experimentation.

25. Computerization/Technology: The Elite have many classified means of controlling us, though some are still in the trial stages. Consider nanochips (teeny tiny robots can be placed in humans to control them), robotic reproduction (the ability of robots and computers to reproduce), and GTWA (Global Technology World Alliance which is a secret society developing and working with advanced technology to achieve control and denomination of international supremacy and economics. Bluetooth, Wii and other high-tech tools, along with laser and advanced weaponry (stun guns, particle beams) are also tools for fully establishing the NWO. The Elite have secret labs and black ops; yet, they won’t support scientists and researchers who create inventions or medications for the good of mankind.

26. UFOs: Whether truly from another planet or invented by the government, they can be used to instill paralyzing dread in us if they tell us that an invasion is real. Quickly we would give up all our rights to be protected from enemies.

27. Economy: In order for the Elite to completely take over the world, they have to capture the economic sector to create a one-world economy, as seen in the collapse of the American dollar, along with merging the U.S., Canada and America into one of the ten regions. These ten regions each will have a representative on a governing panel, with one member emerging as a dictator. Many of the other ten regions have already been set up. Elitists manipulate the stock market and all other monetary resources; they own the Federal Reserve, and control all international currencies, determining what your paycheck will be worth.

28. Feminism and Working Mothers: From the moment the Powers decided to use left-wing feminism as a way to cause resentment between men and women and their children, is the moment when the institution of marriage faltered. Two incomes gave Mom and Dad the false sense that they had money, and thus materialism also seeped into our lives at the same time. The role of males has been re-defined and belittled.

29. UN: Most damaging for American citizens is the UN which strives to undermine our country, reduce our spending power, eliminate our freedoms, lower us to third world status, make us pay for other countries’ problems, and rape of us of everything that once made us powerful. Doing this allows the NWO to weaken the most prevailing muscle in the world so that we have no strength to fight any of their programs.

30. Confiscation of Rights: The NWO Elitists can’t fully stage their takeover until our country is disarmed, as an armed citizenry can fight back. The day they take our guns is the total end of our sovereignty and our country.

31. Secret societies serve to unite the Elitists in their demise of our nation and the installation of a global government via their networking force and underground operations, as well as control over religious, educational and corporate systems. They will never admit that these societies exist and that they are the muscle behind the authority. Symbolism is one facet of them, and they use newspapers, radio airwaves, and TV to subliminally pass messages to one another.

32. Mind Control: The government and their counterparts are most adept in brainwashing techniques using a litany of resources, such as drugs (MKUltra, LSD), projects (Project Monarch, Phoenix), propaganda (constant bombardment of untruths and omissions by the media), cults/programming (groups giving up their individuality and blindly following some unstable leader), and video games, rock music, violence and witchcraft on TV, such as Harry Potter. Even works of fine art are polluted with vulgarity and crude innuendos. Societies have agents and sleepers everywhere.

33. Media Mergers: The Illuminati own all the major media in print, television, radio, music, and theater. They create conglomerates and monopolies. Doing this gives them control over everything we watch, read, and listen to.

34. Corrupt Government: CIA drugs and arm smuggling, bought politicians, undercover dealings, disinformation, lies and distortions, blackmail, constant deceptions are all part of their bid for a one world government. Disinformation is a major means of confusing us, which they do through false media reports, chain letters, the articles they place on the internet, and the rumors they start.

35. Lack of Missile Defense: An unarmed America is akin to a fire in a theater with no exits. While other countries are building their arsenals, we’re minimizing ours. Disarmament and the decline of our militia, and thus our ability to defend ourselves, certainly mean defeat even before a conflict breaks out.

36. Decline of Military: Our military lacks the self-confidence, the manpower, the equipment and the technology needed to fight opposing forces, and is compromised in morality and morale through unnecessary wars that are not intended to be won.

37. Passing of EOs: EOs (Executive Orders), PDs (Presidential Directives), and PDDs (Presidential Decision Directives) have become so amorphous and customary that no one cares when a new one is enacted. This is an Illuminati tactic to proceed with their personal agendas without first obtaining congressional approval; thus allowing extreme orders to be written that would prove detrimental to the general public. For example, a single EO could dissolve the entire United States.

38. Infiltration: The Illuminati use subtlety to invade churches, schools, corporations, small businesses, organizations, and everything else, and implant their ideology and philosophy of a one-world government through well honed issues, such as global warming. They have their “people” (often members of their secret societies) placed throughout these entities who make decisions beneficial to the Elitists.

39. Regional Government: One of the most effective means for the Powers to gain control and implement their global rule is through regional government where they give mandates to mayors and municipal managers via documents on how matters must be handled. Law enforcement, attorneys and judges are part of the scenario.

40. Created or Contrived Crises: Whether actual or devised, crises “seem real” to us. False or deliberate crises work to scare us and allow the Illuminists to achieve their goals, such as re-designing New Orleans to their desire, or going to Iraq for oil and the take-over of their banks for the Federal Reserve. Examples include global warming, the energy crisis, floods, hurricanes (they can control the weather), and any other disaster they desire.

In summary, the Elitists use these approaches among others to bring about their New World Order or global government. The Inner Circle and their octopus arms suck in prey smaller than they to conquer, and will resort to any method of getting what they want. They have planned long and hard, covering all their bases, and devised ingenious ways to conquer us. Be on guard.

Our hope of overcoming them lies in the schisms they create among themselves, their ongoing feuding and power fight for the top position along with empowering ourselves with knowledge of what they do. That, they can’t take away from us and we can use against them.

3. Contamination: Any form of poisoning will kill a sizeable population, and this can be targeted. The elite can contaminate our water supplies and food resources (genetically modified food may be exemplary), and despoil our land (soil impregnated with bacteria, oil and other toxic spills).

4. Detainment Camps are set up as holding areas until termination ensues or the enslavement of those in society they believe will serve as strong and vital slaves. Whether factual or not, that we even believe they exist puts us in a state of fear and anger. Underlying the knowledge of such Gulags is the simple fact that the American populace realizes that a police state or Marshall Law is on the horizon.

5. Moral Corruption has been and remains a major technique for bringing about the New World Order, with all its anti-Americanism, anti-patriotism, and anti-traditionalism going on. Destruction of home-taught values has been aligned with the new educational dockets in government schools. Relative values rule over old-fashioned, family-oriented absolute values…what is morally, ethically and legally right and wrong (“Whatever feels right to you, do it, even if it isn’t”).

6. Diversity: This refers to forcing us to show tolerance, understanding and acceptance for values we do not believe in. “Political correctness” was the thrust for this. Censorship and hate crimes are also a means for forcing undesirable changes down our throats.

7. Racial Dissention: This is a method they use to create conflict among races and nationalities, as in “Divide and conquer.”

Removal of God: The Elite work hard to prohibit us from making any reference to God or Christ and the sacredness of Christianity in public but yet they promote pagan holidays, Wicca, black magic and practice Satanism. A society lacking in God and spirituality—especially one supposedly built on Christianity—is a doomed civilization, and one that easily cedes to others. Apostasy in our churches, especially Catholicism, is a sign of the destruction foisted on us. Their goal is to reach back to the Ancient Mysteries, and to learn what they believe are advanced technologies from ancient aliens and gods

9. Ecumenism is another parameter for a one-world religion. Believing that Christ is not the savior, or that other people or so called "prophets” are the saviors makes Christianity invalid. Some believe New Ageism will be the one-world religion, while others think global warming with become the hymn. An aspect of their plan is their contrived apocalypse based on the books of Revelation and Daniel.

10. Remiss Authority Figures: Many parents and adults fear today’s youth. Kids scream, yell, mock, and often physically abuse their parents or other elders. They’re rude and disrespectful. Much of this is attributed to the “It takes a village to raise a child” mentality, where children are supposed to be cuddled, free-thinking, and do whatever they want. Parents and authority have become remiss in correcting foul children. The Elite encourage children to resist authority, on one hand, while wanting them to mindlessly obey, on the other.

11. Failing Educational System: Education is the key approach for altering children’s beliefs of what is right and wrong through mind control programs, rewriting history, introducing alternative and debased sexual teachings, and false ideologies. This conditions them to accept whatever the Powers lay before them, and they are dumbeddown so that they won’t learn the truth and rebel.

12. Sexual Perversion is used to advance Elitists’ goals and degrade our morals, getting us to accept and even adopt anything they put on us, and often using such activity to blackmail us.

13. Drugs/Alcohol: Breeding a society of chemically abused and dependent individuals is one way to get people to accept matters contrary to their morals, and to rely on the government to help them get through it. Addiction robs us financially and psychologically while diverting law enforcement efforts to other areas. Prescribed medicine makes us reliant on pills and doctors while ballooning Big Pharma profits.

14. Gambling: Promoting illegal activities through pretenses of “enjoyment” and promises of making big money is yet another scheme by the Elitist to keep us dependent on money and materialism for our happiness, and to be dependent on outside forces for our happenings and success.

15. Chaos is a maneuver to keep us bewildered. By putting events and activities in a framework of utter turmoil where no one knows what to do, who to believe, or on whom to rely, the Powers can emerge as the saviors by offering solutions to the chaos they have secretly exacted. Conflicting issues via the Hegelian Dialectics keep the masses on edge, doubting, and confused, as well as sidetracked from the real issues they want to forward.

Cover-ups: What the Illuminati don’t want us to know, they cover up by disposing of the people, making them “disappear,” or placing vital documents under “classified,” or through throwing out red herrings at us. Whistleblowers are often destroyed career-wise, or personally mocked, or injured, and even murdered. Underground and black ops are keys to cover-ups. Propagation of conspiracies is a game for them and a way for them to conflict the masses. Intentional leaks are one of their prescribed methods for conditioning us to their intent and for confusing us.

Environment: Using global warming as a “unifying issue,” the Illuminati are not only making scads of money through corporate green programs and retail merchandise, but also deceiving people into believing that the issue is real, when in reality hundreds of scientists who are not given print can testify against it. Thus the environment is used as a weapon to employ the Elitist’s objectives and to create a common mantra—a religion of its own. Added to this are sustainable development and eminent domain (taking commoners’ lands for their own purposes), and controlled weather (HAARP--High frequency Active Auroral Research Program and other weather weapons), among other processes.

18. Destroying the Workforce: Damaging treaties (GATT, NAFTA, etc.) created the massive loss of jobs in our country via outsourcing and the erosion of our industries. America has been minimized as a strong nation and castrated as a super power. Jobs have been given to illegal immigrants in our country or sent overseas to India and China and other nations. Americans struggle financially as the Elitists lower us to third world status. Illegal immigration is just one of their schemes for running the world.

19. Crimes: A society frightened of being murdered, raped, beaten, held hostage, hijacked, or kidnapped, or victims of vehicular deaths, road rage, and "suicided,” among other abominable offenses, is a society wailing for security, in spite of lost rights. This, then, is just one more method of cuckolding us into ceding our rights to Big Brother. The ICC (International Criminal Court) was created to imprison people of different cultures, including Americans. The protection of hard core, guilty criminals is also symptomatic of a failing country.

20. Terrorism: The Powers keep us in a state of trepidation over terrorism—real or contrived—and cause us to cede our freedoms for protection. 2001's 9/11 caused a major breakdown of the U.S. Constitution, the infringement of rights and policies through Homeland Security, the Patriot Act, biochips, and soon-to-come Martial Law; hence, the concentration camps for those who balk against the Police State or promote dissension.

21. Slavery and Prostitution: Many people, especially younger ones, are rounded up in clandestine ways and are forced into slavery or prostitution. They may be stolen during the night, taken coming and going from school, or whisked off in parking lots. They are often earmarked by the Powers who want young maidens or lads to "entertain” visiting dignitaries or foreign VIPs who abuse the kids and sell them to slave masters, pimps, and other black market factions. Some researchers believe that these missing people have even been sacrificed in satanic rituals.

22. Genocide is a method for wiping out an entire society for depopulation purposes, for government gain, for eliminating enemies, for creating a super race by purging traits deemed negative. Genocide, then, is an effective way for the Elite to sort out which people they want and which they don’t; it gets rid of the unwanted in one fell swoop. Some of their methods include random extermination (holocausts) and heinous atrocities, creating insurrections to kill off a religious or racial group, and holocausts.

23. Decision Makers: The Illuminati’s power shores them up to decide who the next president or prime minister will be, who will receive grants and government funding, and anything else that affect us on a personal and national level.

Diseases: Bacteria and viruses can be released during either war or peace time to create a chaos and a demand for protection that would help the powers to achieve their mission of globalism; bio-warfare can be reserved for combat when the substances are unleashed on enemies. Besides using bacteria in germ warfare, they also test substances on humans, some unknowingly. The introduction of HIV, the rise of once eliminated childhood diseases, biochem warfare, and the growing number of unknown bacterial and viral diseases are representative of their manipulations. They can put substances into drinking water; they’ve introduced cell phones knowing the dangers of cancer; and they’ve used microwaves and other technologies against us, as well as various forms of experimentation.

25. Computerization/Technology: The Elite have many classified means of controlling us, though some are still in the trial stages. Consider nanochips (teeny tiny robots can be placed in humans to control them), robotic reproduction (the ability of robots and computers to reproduce), and GTWA (Global Technology World Alliance which is a secret society developing and working with advanced technology to achieve control and denomination of international supremacy and economics. Bluetooth, Wii and other high-tech tools, along with laser and advanced weaponry (stun guns, particle beams) are also tools for fully establishing the NWO. The Elite have secret labs and black ops; yet, they won’t support scientists and researchers who create inventions or medications for the good of mankind.

26. UFOs: Whether truly from another planet or invented by the government, they can be used to instill paralyzing dread in us if they tell us that an invasion is real. Quickly we would give up all our rights to be protected from enemies.

27. Economy: In order for the Elite to completely take over the world, they have to capture the economic sector to create a one-world economy, as seen in the collapse of the American dollar, along with merging the U.S., Canada and America into one of the ten regions. These ten regions each will have a representative on a governing panel, with one member emerging as a dictator. Many of the other ten regions have already been set up. Elitists manipulate the stock market and all other monetary resources; they own the Federal Reserve, and control all international currencies, determining what your paycheck will be worth.

28. Feminism and Working Mothers: From the moment the Powers decided to use left-wing feminism as a way to cause resentment between men and women and their children, is the moment when the institution of marriage faltered. Two incomes gave Mom and Dad the false sense that they had money, and thus materialism also seeped into our lives at the same time. The role of males has been re-defined and belittled.

29. UN: Most damaging for American citizens is the UN which strives to undermine our country, reduce our spending power, eliminate our freedoms, lower us to third world status, make us pay for other countries’ problems, and rape of us of everything that once made us powerful. Doing this allows the NWO to weaken the most prevailing muscle in the world so that we have no strength to fight any of their programs.

30. Confiscation of Rights: The NWO Elitists can’t fully stage their takeover until our country is disarmed, as an armed citizenry can fight back. The day they take our guns is the total end of our sovereignty and our country.

31. Secret societies serve to unite the Elitists in their demise of our nation and the installation of a global government via their networking force and underground operations, as well as control over religious, educational and corporate systems. They will never admit that these societies exist and that they are the muscle behind the authority. Symbolism is one facet of them, and they use newspapers, radio airwaves, and TV to subliminally pass messages to one another.

32. Mind Control: The government and their counterparts are most adept in brainwashing techniques using a litany of resources, such as drugs (MKUltra, LSD), projects (Project Monarch, Phoenix), propaganda (constant bombardment of untruths and omissions by the media), cults/programming (groups giving up their individuality and blindly following some unstable leader), and video games, rock music, violence and witchcraft on TV, such as Harry Potter. Even works of fine art are polluted with vulgarity and crude innuendos. Societies have agents and sleepers everywhere.

33. Media Mergers: The Illuminati own all the major media in print, television, radio, music, and theater. They create conglomerates and monopolies. Doing this gives them control over everything we watch, read, and listen to.

34. Corrupt Government: CIA drugs and arm smuggling, bought politicians, undercover dealings, disinformation, lies and distortions, blackmail, constant deceptions are all part of their bid for a one world government. Disinformation is a major means of confusing us, which they do through false media reports, chain letters, the articles they place on the internet, and the rumors they start.

35. Lack of Missile Defense: An unarmed America is akin to a fire in a theater with no exits. While other countries are building their arsenals, we’re minimizing ours. Disarmament and the decline of our militia, and thus our ability to defend ourselves, certainly mean defeat even before a conflict breaks out.

36. Decline of Military: Our military lacks the self-confidence, the manpower, the equipment and the technology needed to fight opposing forces, and is compromised in morality and morale through unnecessary wars that are not intended to be won.

37. Passing of EOs: EOs (Executive Orders), PDs (Presidential Directives), and PDDs (Presidential Decision Directives) have become so amorphous and customary that no one cares when a new one is enacted. This is an Illuminati tactic to proceed with their personal agendas without first obtaining congressional approval; thus allowing extreme orders to be written that would prove detrimental to the general public. For example, a single EO could dissolve the entire United States.

38. Infiltration: The Illuminati use subtlety to invade churches, schools, corporations, small businesses, organizations, and everything else, and implant their ideology and philosophy of a one-world government through well honed issues, such as global warming. They have their “people” (often members of their secret societies) placed throughout these entities who make decisions beneficial to the Elitists.

39. Regional Government: One of the most effective means for the Powers to gain control and implement their global rule is through regional government where they give mandates to mayors and municipal managers via documents on how matters must be handled. Law enforcement, attorneys and judges are part of the scenario.

40. Created or Contrived Crises: Whether actual or devised, crises “seem real” to us. False or deliberate crises work to scare us and allow the Illuminists to achieve their goals, such as re-designing New Orleans to their desire, or going to Iraq for oil and the take-over of their banks for the Federal Reserve. Examples include global warming, the energy crisis, floods, hurricanes (they can control the weather), and any other disaster they desire.

In summary, the Elitists use these approaches among others to bring about their New World Order or global government. The Inner Circle and their octopus arms suck in prey smaller than they to conquer, and will resort to any method of getting what they want. They have planned long and hard, covering all their bases, and devised ingenious ways to conquer us. Be on guard.

Our hope of overcoming them lies in the schisms they create among themselves, their ongoing feuding and power fight for the top position along with empowering ourselves with knowledge of what they do. That, they can’t take away from us and we can use against them.
